Clearly the bright side of this situation is that people have had a lot more time to pursue hobbies like urban photography. We’re getting a lot of good pics now. Keep them coming we need them now more than ever. The air is so clean right now and the sky looks beautiful.

Seems like most of the missing panels that was covered with temporary wood have been filled in. I'll try and get pics this week, as I'm trying to capture the heart on CTC this week

Since that shot is over half a year old, here's a brand new shot
W/Element Hotel from Westville by Thomas Koloski, on Flickr
The orange strips are not the lights, but the sunlight reflecting on the angled faces

Is there any actual news? I'm pretty sure the original opening date was June and according to the website has been pushed back now to August.

Talk about bad luck with this project. Major cost overruns due to unexpectedly finding foundations of the old building and then finally delivering during the worst economic crisis since the depression that has completely wrecked the hospitality market.

This looks to be the enterance to the Element shaping up:

Does anyone else kind of find it disturbing that out of all the stores they left the fast food restaurants untouched

Kanye West ate at that Wendys, therefore I believe it's protected under the Geneva Conventions as a Holy Site.

FWIW, Marriotts website lists the Element opening in Sep 2020 and the W opening in Dec 2020.
