I would say this EY “information” is suspect and likely inaccurate.

The top 10 here are:

1. San Francisco - $15.5B
2. NYC - $5.1B
3. Boston - $3.0B
4. Los Angeles - $2.3B
5. Denver - $1.0B
6. Washington DC - $800M
7. Philadelphia - $700M
8. Seattle - $700M
9. Chicago - $600M
10. Miami - $300M
This is why Philadelphians hate everyone tbh. There are times (like these) where it feels like we get purposefully excluded from inclusion in lists and best of summaries just because it doesn't suit the author's perception or the conclusion they're trying to convey. Or like the time Andy Jassy stepped over Philly for HQ2 even though insiders admitted Philly scored highest in Amazon's own criteria because he hates the Eagles and said "everyone wants to be in Nashville".

Ugh. Okay.

Anyways. Only an idiot would walk around West Philly / University City and not realize that we're near the top of the heap for VC in this country.

Good day y'all!

I'm just glad someone quickly put up a list with Chicago in it. . . was having a panic attack there for a minute. . .

Isn't that the same Zeekr that manufactures cars and is essentially a division of Geely? They also claimed they were competing with Tesla. However, after a bunch of news this winter about widespread breakdowns of Chinese cars in Russia and Kazakhstan, I wouldn't call any Chinese car a competitor.
