^ Hmmm.....so I suppose the renderings Sentinal found on their website a couple months ago are actually not the final? (I don't see a 340' high wing on those......)

Glad to hear the event center is going to squeeze its groundbreaking in by year-end.......

this one has had so many different redesigns over the years; it's nice to have an insider who can nail down the figure by looking at the actual CD's.

is the floor count still holding at 40 stories?

Yes, 40 stories, but there are a few mezzanine floors hidden in there!

This is a different hotel. This is the one proposed for the southwest corner of Cermack and Indiana.

Excavation to reveal all of the caissons on the hotel side appear to be done or nearly done, and 3 caisson drills were on the arena side this morning. Construction appears to be picking up speed.
