My guess is that it will be handled inhouse as its a Homburg-Centron project and they usually work like that.

The new Oslo is 13 or 14 floors, 372 units. See my full reply in the construction thread.

A crane base has been installed at Bow Valley College. Saw it this morning as I walked past.

Is that on the phase II site? Probably on the west edge I'm assuming.

I think it is the phase 2 site. The one between 6th and 7th Ave. There is already one crane fully up, and then this base. It is kind of in the NW/N Central part of the site.

Having seen the new rendering of Oslo - it looks like there will be several cranes on that site - as that covers quite a distance.

Only 33 cranes? The economy is tanking!!!

There's a crane set up at Red Haus in Royal Oak. It's not huge but it's not a truck crane, so it's some sort of tower crane (even if it's just for a 4 story structure). I can't remember the "official" crane criteria anymore - come back Frink!!!!!!

If it is one of those ones operated from the ground I won't include it in the count. I think it has to be a tower or luffer crane that has a cab up top with the operator in it.

That crane doesn't seem to have a cab on it. Is it operated from the ground? Does it qualify for the list? I'm no expert, but it doesn't seem to be a full fledged tower crane.
