food porn

go ahead and make us hungry with your food pics!

I was out for dinner at a new location for an old restaurant, Sukiyaki House, and they gave us dessert on the house. Green tea ice cream with sliced strawberries, whipped cream, green tea cake, walnuts, and sake creme brulee.

I've picked those up a few times at the grocery store. Nice flavor.

In a former life I was a chef. Last time I went home I cooked dinner for the family. Appetizer was Potato Pankakes with Smoked Salmon and Dill Cream Sauce:

The main was Cumin Grilled Chicken with Kiwi-Mint Salsa. I was very happy with the salsa. Cool and sweet at first with a _very_ spicy finish:

Yeah, I guess food over here isn't too bad. That last picture was the best club sandwich I ever had.

I had Chinese food. Good, but not photo-worthy, and everyone knows what it looks like anyway.
