For the General Aviation fans

On the way out to Palo Duro Canyon yesterday to do some hiking we passed Buffalo Airport (1E7) and noticed a ton of planes parked out on the grass. We decided to stop on the way back and look around. By then about half the aircraft had left, but there were still a few around, so I took some shitty shots with my point and shoot. Enjoy.

Thanks for looking.

Ahh! I love airplanes! I only have 2 uploaded pictures of airplanes but I have TONS on my computer. I've always wanted to go on a seaplane but I've never had time. Or money...

Thanks for the pics... love the variety of aircraft designs!

It brought to mind childhood memories of my daily school-bus, which had an unusual distinction in that part of its route ran up an airport runway!

Such was life, growing up in Florida next door to the world's largest residential airpark (Spruce Creek "Fly-In"... think "country-club community", only parked next to the prerequisite Porsches you find the family Cessna). They've had their share of celebrity residents, including John Travolta and Tom Cruise. I can't say as I ever met or even saw anyone famous (definitely not while on the school-bus route.)
