Great lineup (more to come), unique venue mix, multiple beer options and looking forward to partnering once again with a great Downtown Festival

Speaking of artists, musicians and such, Arts on the Ave is hosting a fundraiser this Friday at the absolutely spectacular renovated Parkdale Community League hall. This is an extremely talented group that has supported and promoted the arts community throughout the city.

Kanye West skipping Calgary, heading to Edmonton on upcoming tour

MIKE BELL, CALGARY HERALD

Once again some Calgarians will speculate and be left with a case of arena envy.

Hip-hop star Kanye West has announced the dates for his upcoming Saint Pablo Tour and the city is noticeable once more by its absence.

West’s Western Canadian run will take him from Winnipeg’s MTS Centre on Oct. 12 to Edmonton’s brand spankin’ new Rogers Place on Oct. 15 before heading to the coast for an Oct. 17 Rogers Arena show.

For those wanting to take a road trip up north — it is a Saturday night in E-Town — tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday from livenation.com, and range from $29.50 to $149 (plus service charges).

I'm squinting hard if I remember you. Name doesn't ring a bell yet.

Wood panelling, red shag, bubble glass.. Looks like my basement. All you're missing is a massive stack and a set of Cerwin Vega block rockers!

Haha this is my real name I used a handle on those boards and honestly I don't remember them because I was in my mid-late teens then. Just remember you because your name is quite unique and you played Happy Hardcore

Yes my basement is untouched from a Reno in the mid seventies. But it is very warm and inviting. Perfect for a wife swapping swingers party if anyone is feeling nostalgic.

Went looking for my early internet uploads. Seems this one is still being shared after being initially uploaded in 2004. Wow. Back in the ETRP, NExopia, OCRemix heyday.

Meat Loaf seems to be okay, severe dehydration is the cause, vital signs are better after receiving 600 cc's of ketchup.

Nothing worse than a dry meatloaf.
When he hit the floor, was his name Ground Beef?
