903 Peachtree LD has conditional approval to move forward:

Conditional approval, until submission to the City , a notarized letter from the neighbors that will be encroached upon, per note on sheet C0-80.

Wonder if that's Bulldogs or the property on Juniper?

Awesome updates. 903 Peachtree is the residential that takes up the small retail district just north and along juniper.

Also glad to see the toll brothers projects moving forward.

903 isn’t going to demolish the residential building at the corner lot on Juniper. The one between that corner and Bezoria will go, however.

This is correct, I forgot what’s all along that block. The project stops west of that building.

Assuming 903, Toll Brothers and the apartment and office at 14th and Spring break ground in Q1, there will likely be 25 cranes up in Midtown by early summer.

Planning permit filed this week for rezoning 569 10th st NW to MRC-3 for a "small mixed-use development." It's the northeast corner of 10th and Curran St, inbetween Northside dr and Hemphill. Currently single family housing.

Sounds like we need to stop and reconsider all these tax breaks. Even the GA Power/New City claims to be moving forward. Atlanta is handing out money for no reason it appears. Maybe that’s why my property taxes increased 300% last year.

Pretty significant development. Not sure I want more Portman buildings along this stretch though... These look decent, hopefully they turn out ok.

Portman buys landmark Midtown funeral home, will develop property with multiple towers

This is huge news. As it is Portman, i would expect more offices and hotel (I haven’t read the article yet). Would love to see a mix of office and residential added in here since it is so transit accessible and walkable.

"Portman Holdings will preserve the exterior of the more than 90-year-old funeral home and its gardens, which received landmark designation in 2018. Over the next year, it will create a master plan for the remainder of the property, one of the most prized in the city for its high point overlooking Midtown and Technology Square. Early concepts include a 600,000-square-foot office tower, a 300-unit residential building and a hotel."

Portman's designs tend to be underwhelming, but they're doing a good job with infill in the area. I'll take it.

It's a Christmas Miracle.

Now that the developer for Eviva Peachtree has reached settlement with the Atlanta Housing Authority maybe they will finally move forward with the Eviva Peachtree development. It would be amazing to see another tower with that kinetic sculpture stuff wrapping the parking deck.

Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure if this is the reason why they didn't move forward with Eviva. They ended up starting their Chamblee mixed used projects even in the midst of these legal issues.

Eviva Peachtree is their most expensive endeavor. A lot more risk involved

Glad to see this one move forward. Would love to see more coordination with the BeltLine to extend the NST to Armour Yards. There’s tremendous opportunity around the concentration around peachtree. The existing gravel road, utility corridor, and adjacent Peachtree creek demonstrate a few opportunities to extend the trail and preserve ROW for LRT extensions.
