Kinda reminds me of something you'd see in the Balkans.

They may want to consider hiring a real architect...

The renders are pretty bad. Look like they were done by a 10 year old in MS paint.

But the project itself don't look too bad. Similar looking to a lot of other "mixed-use" projects out there. But still a bit to much parking / suburban design IMO.

Yay another parking garage...

And yes, those renderings are tragic. Hopefully it's just a "concept"

Hmm, shouldn't this make 3 active proposals in the general area? Wasn't there another proposal a couple of years ago with over 1500 units? I remember the drawings of the project looking more traditional...I can't find the article for it though.

A tall column will be built in the new Rodney Cook Sr. Park "110-foot tall Peace Column, featuring a statue at its top of Chief Tomochichi" Reminds me of Nelsons Column in Trafalgar Square, London. I think this column will be pretty interesting for Atlanta.

Someone is painting geometric designs on the blank white walls of Broadstone Juniper (click for full size):

There's also some more colorful art at the 6th St garage entrance (I don't have a photo of that, sorry). This wasn't on the renderings for the project but it's shown in their gallery.

Copying from the other thread regarding Dunwoody development:

Plans also include demolishing the building closest to I-285 to build two 14-story residential towers as well as another office tower.

Williams said there would be roughly 1,000 housing units and a total of some 500,000 to 600,000 square feet of office space. Williams also said plans are to have 75 percent of the residential units be owner-occupied and the remaining 25 percent be rental units, at about 650 square feet."

Not sure if anyone covered this, but it appears as if they are installing the crane based at CODA according to the LIVE video feed.
