I was able to fit a few minutes in at the end of my day yesterday to take some skyline shots of Victoria. The sky was so clear. I also got a nice photo of The Olympic Mountain Range which is in Washington State.

Here's another photo I took last week from Mt. Tolmie. It's not zoomed in so it shows a bit more of Greater Victoria.

I took a couple of photos a few days ago. This photo I took was of a rainbow that was over the city when I was driving downtown. I pulled over to take this shot. Thought it was really amazing.

I took this photo shortly afterwards. It's a photo of Victoria's tallest building.

I hope to take some new photos from around town soon. I haven't done city photography for some time now.

I did a walk around Victoria on Sunday and took about 60 plus photos. I thought I'd share half of them on here tonight and the other half tomorrow night. It was a wet and rainy day but I enjoyed my photo tour. Always new things to see and photograph.

The best view of the Olympics is from Victoria. Spectacular. I also like it that Victoria gets only 23 inches of rain per year (same as London) being in the Olympics rain shadow. Enough to be green and have nice trees, but also has plenty of sun. Vancouver's 60 inches is a bit much. If you like rain and gloomy rain forests, you can drive about 50 miles west from Victoria along the coast and be in areas that get over 100 inches, for example, Port Renfrew, 138 inches. If I lived in Canada, it would be in Victoria.

CaliNative, Thanks for your comment. I was born in Victoria and my family roots go way back into the 1800's in Victoria. I'm grateful to live here and think it's an amazing city. It's amazing how fast it's growing too... I assume you live in California. I have family in Sacramento but haven't been down to see them in years. Thought it was a great city though when I was there.
