Oh it's definitely shade when you imply that Atlanta is not a community that embraces art. I think people aren't questioning the installation so much as saying that they find this particular one to be unattractive. And that just comes with the territory for both art and architecture.

I myself am hoping that the real thing will be a bit more appealing than the rendering of it .

Seems like a prudent thing to do. Others should follow your lead.

I think it looks great in person. It pops so much that you can see it clearly all the way from where Peachtree and West Peachtree combine.

I want to echo this. The pictures look dumb. In person, it’s somewhat inspiring and refreshing. Not sure how to describe it really, but it’s definitely different in person.

I’m REALLY hoping the artist does not put up black dots like the renderings. Rather the black dots were to hide a surprise of the illuminations. The artwork is silly and I enjoy it so far. Midtown Atlanta could use more silly and be less work oriented.

I appreciate the height and added density around One Atlantic Center, but this building is just meh imo.

The white exterior doesn't really fit with the area so it stands out in a bad way. It honesly looks like a highrise from Miami which is not surprising considering Related is a Miami firm. At least Atlantic House attempted to design their highrise with the surroundings buildings in mind.

Can't complain with the height, but the design is mediocre and cheap looking. Leave the Miami stuff to Miami.

I'm glad it doesn't look like the surrounding buildings. I don't think we need another brownish OAC looking building at that intersection. Diversity is good and makes the skyline more interesting, imo.

It may not be a popular tower, but I really like how it turned out.

It would have been cool to have a mural or at least some kind of geometric pattern going down the outer wall of the elevator shaft.
