This tower is amazing.

My hope is that Michael Stern becomes the city's most prolific tower developer. All his projects are A+ efforts.

Gonna say it now, but I think this building will be the new beacon of 21st-century NYC! Once it's lit up at night, I think it'll be more jaw-dropping than ESB at night!

This one is a star for sure. Watching the crown take shape reminds me of those photos of the Chrysler crown being built. We’re witnessing greatness.

People hate on how skinny this thing is but once it's fully clad I think they'll change their minds, hopefully the crown is lit up at night too.

I want some damn skyscraper light shows like Shanghai or Hong Kong

I doubt the people paying for these expensive condos would want that. Lighting is fine, but no one is gonna sign up for a light show.

I think the taper, along with its cladding, is one of its most stunning attributes. It’s unique. With this and Verre, it’s very refreshing to have showstoppers that aren’t rectangle boxes with a spire stuck atop.

Debris Falls From 1,428-Foot Billionaire's Row Tower, FDNY Says
Bricks fell from the roof of 111 West 57th Street, forcing police to shut the street down on Thursday afternoon.

Police shut down a block of the Midtown street known as "Billionaire's Row" after bricks fell from the roof of a tower under construction, an FDNY spokesman said.

The debris fell from 111 W. 57th St., a planned 1,428-foot-tall tower located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, shortly before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, fire officials said. The FDNY spokesman could not confirm if the falling debris struck any objects on street level, but did say that there were no known injuries.

New York City Emergency Management sent out a notice warning people to stay away from West 57th Street between Sixth and Seventh avenues on Thursday due to the street closure.

The city Department of Buildings sent inspectors to the West 57th Street construction site to conduct an investigation, a DOB spokesperson said.

It already looks amazing. It's going to look so luxurious.
