The design looks like it anticipates wild planet being gone in the long run. the building's south side has few windows with views to block.

I'm not mad at it honestly.

Yeah. It is tough because it is very visible but it’s also a firewall wether there’s a building next door or not, so that’s about as much window as a four foot setback allows. Some signage or something might add to it. But there won’t be more windows. Was hoping the roofline would make it not boring.

How about a sign like the one on the roof of that building when you enter the north end except it says ‘welcome to the village’?

Like we noticed with the recent Exchange District highrise proposal, there's a pattern to some recent proposals, remarkable in that case because they didn't follow it.

The ground floor looked like the weakest part of the original sketches--the retail space looked too big and cavernous. I'm glad it's coming about as smaller units.

A mural would be pretty awesome if it won't be covered up in the short term by another building.

After giving it some thought. I would go with #1 as my first choice and #3 my second choice. Why? There will be an apartment or condo going up right across the street from this project that will have 10 floors perhaps. I think having something this tall would be welcoming. Yes, the latest one does look nice indeed. It's not up to us at all. Whatever they choose. I will be fine with. Osborne will look different that is for sure in a nice way.

Well, we could do worse but it makes me think of 1983 to be honest.

Looks like a change to brick all around and different colours.

I kind of like the lighter coloured brick. Feels like the old brick you see around Winnipeg.

Infill good. Continued evolution of Osborn into a McNeighbourhood, not so good. Looks a little too sterile for my liking.

Looks good to me. Dismal strip right now, this is a great addition. I liked the buff-coloured brick treatment better than the grey, but this will make a great improvement to the streetscape along there.

We will make sure one third of it is empty and falling apart, one third will be a surface parking lot and the other third will have a giant clown mural painted across the front.

I like the more yellow brick too. Selecting brick is a long process. Lots will change yet.

What's with grey in Winnipeg? Qualico picked Gullshit Grey as their "designer" interior colour like ten years ago. It's been time to move on.

Reminds me of when I was a kid and people couldn't help putting pink stucco and teal sheet metal on everything they'd just gotten over painting poo brown and orange.
