Looks good overall, but that mechanical penthouse is quite prominent. We'll see when it's all done however, I think they could have done a better job integrating it into the design.

I'll take a new tallest building in Ottawa from Mizrahi after they finish The One in Toronto, please, Alex.

I guess we shouldn't rush quality, but damn has this building taken forever.

And they're teasing us with that roof... When will it ever be installed?

The hype for this place is (was?) astronomical.

I mean.. it's nice. It doesn't blow me away.

At least the curvy parts are curvy.

It's like most of our nicer projects in town. Nice but not exactly mind bottling.

I am beyond intrigued to see the rooftop finish though. The rest of the project is a little bit too monochromatic right meow.

Even the backside looks good.

I agree, this is a nice, high quality building, but won't win any design awards (because the awards in Ottawa are rigged to favour local developers, like how else do you explain Claridge, CLARIDGE, cleaning house every time? ).

They planted the trees on the front. I hope they survive. The owners of the condo across the street have done a really good job taking care of their trees and planters. Unlike 1960 Scott where the trees have now all died, and residents use the planters as litter boxes for their pets.

Great, so just four months to do the blueskin.

Is this supposed to be copper? Did they discover the price of copper has quadrupled in the last two years and now they're scratching their heads as to what to install? Pray its not going to be mint green sheet metal.

I would accept a rich brown sheet metal instead of copper.
