Looks like there are a few more recent pics here.

Some nice renderings and photos of the project at Heatherwick's website.

I'd still post it lol. Every update is good stuff, even if its 200x200 and one has to squint.

This park will be one for the books. I just hope it doesn't get too crowded, with folks not enjoying the view or moment, but on their damn phones. If you see those types, give them a nice roundhouse kick to the face. I'll pay your bail as your doing the work of the lord.

It was like when I first went to the 1 WTC Observatory. I witnessed folks playing games on thier phones and texting like mad. IDK... I'd be enjoying the view, but I suppose folks are different. Who needs the phone when one has NYC and its glory.

My problem is when they hog up the good viewing spots. That's where the round housekick comes into good use.

looks incredible but odd to me they started planting this late in the season. What are the chances all those trees survive the winter being that exposed.

i dunno about those Corten steel balusters, they just look like rusted spikes, and don't seem to harmonize so well with the green and the grey... anyone had a closer look in person?

Trees can survive winter. They lose their leaves and undergo physiological changes. Deciduous trees!
