This is one of my favorite new buildings going up in Downtown Brooklyn. The art deco masonry, horizontal casement windows, etc...fantastic addition to the neighborhood.

The blue glazed brick is gorgeous, I just wish there was more of it. From a distance, the brickwork merges into a blue horizontal layer that makes it just look like any other glass building. Hopefully the smaller paned glass windows provide some texture beyond the thin blue spandrels between floors.

I was hoping that the glazed brick was going to be more blue(like the rendering). They look pretty black in the photos (maybe just the lighting).

That huge blank wall, will anything rise there to cover it up? Or did this building gobble all the rights? If so, why the blank wall?

Looks like they will paint over it, but a blank wall is good for the mind and spirit. NY has many many many many many blank walls.
