It is pity, this beautiful town is "flattened" by the height limits, into almost a bunch of hobbits. Is this rhythmless Sao Paulo on a tiny peninsula?
Vancouver really should allow at least 1~2 300m+ supertalls in its core, which are not although anymore truly "supertall" today.. The skyline with majestic skyscrapers on top of the carpeting 2019 skyline will be still dwarfed by the mountain just north of it, but guess what, it can possess both might of Toronto and beauty of the environment of Victoria in one spot! Isn't it joyful and blessed to be able to celebrate both nature and the man at the same time?
P.S. The redo of the BC place is horrific with that sharp merciless needles pointing up everywhere as if it will pock through eyes of the viewers. Is this to resemble the British "crown" (for the adorable "Canadian" monarchy who resides outside-the-country full time? If that's the case I really don't understand what Vancouver and BC can gain by worshiping the crown, first the miserable Point Roberts (US got 95% of all the oxygen-rich lowlands in the North American pacific coast, yet Canada can't even get the full Fraser lowland, the last flat patch possibly for a grand city?), and now this too.. now who is ruing the country without even noticing or realizing what's been done to it).. The humble and almost comforting dome, looked similar to Tokyo Dome btw, looked way way better in that skyline.

Not only does Vancouver's Broadway Plan allow one to shape the future of British Columbia's second largest employment centre, it also showcases views like these. This workshop in the city's offices at the Crossroads Building left us with a different perspective.
