167 N Green

December 23, 2019

I noticed packaged glass at 167 N Green, but I'm not sure if this truck was headed there or Fulton East.

Soil testing this morning at the lot at ~160 Clinton. I can't find the rendering shared for this lot before, but I vaguely remember it being a Fulton Market-ish brick and black design.

Very Vancouveresque- no surprise given Onni is a Vancouver based firm.

Just a small addition:

Sadly it looks like the unique entrances will disappear.

That's too bad, I always liked the absurdity of that entrance. I presume the black portion from your earlier rendering got snipped too?

I want the kind of density that happened on that block with the Bentham to take place on the lot to the southeast, the one with the BP station. Take out the gas station and add in 2-3 15-20 story towers.

I do like the current effect of that part of being in a bowl surrounded by highrises now, with much more density to the west

^ cool, I didn't catch those angled chamfers from the previous drawings

167 green's glass is starting to go in. pretty clear, not really green like I though it could be when it was on the truck bed

This should probably be in general developments but with Harry's photo above, could old water towers ontop of buildings be preserved or landmarked but moved to a different location for decoration? Say Fulton market? If the building is desreving to come down but want to save the water tower and moved to a different part of town?
