Great pics as always, NYguy! In pic 16-17, I wonder why that top row of glass has one pane that's missing the white "stripe" that all the other lines have

Also, isn't this scheduled to be externally "complete" by next month? I think you or someone had posted the timeline with August being a milestone for construction

They’ll get to it. We’re at that stage in NY where it takes 2 or 3 months to finish that last 2% of facade.

But the tower should open next month either way. Some tenants are already in possession of their space, and the plaza looks like it will be completed soon.

So, are they not going to put back the rest of the spire? Apologies if I missed that.

Finally! The skyline looked weird without the One Vanderbilt spire. Now it's restored.

I wanted to walk over and see it in person, but then the skies opened up! Maybe that was the skyscraper gods signaling that our prayers for the return of the spire have been heard.

It's good to be back.

We're thrilled to share that the top section of the spire has been reinstalled, following its planned removal to allow for the installation of the last pieces of curtainwall. From 1,401 feet, the city looks more resilient than ever.

I feel this spire should have been slighter taller? I really think this tower would have worked better with the 1,501 ft. version.

In any case, can't wait for it to be lit up again.
