This tower is now a supertall. It will be 995 ft. to roof per submitted zoning docs. Can the mods change? No released renderings yet, but the zoning docs show a pretty cool tower profile.

Midtown's Next Skinny Supertall will be a 995' Mixed-Use Tower on Fifth Avenue

Looks like NYC will get a taller, skinnier One Chicago. Although its KPF not Goettsch.

Love it. A classic New York skyscraper. Fits right in with Vanderbilt and 500 5th Avenue.

They have foundation approval, but not the full construction permit yet.

^I like that. A nice throwback to the old setback beauties of the 20s and 30s.

I think that Extell bought into this project. If so, this AMAZING design bodes well for what it plans for its site between 46th and 47th.

Really looking forward to this getting underway.

Interestingly, the address of the building will be broken up by the various compnents (retail, restaurant, office, residential)…..

Can you post the link to this? I’m curious to see the date to ascertain if this is a recent submission. I hope that it is.

Fantastic!

This is going to be AMAZING!

343 Madison looks good there too, though that appears to be an earlier design.

I like the slender profile from its narrowest perspective. On a side note but it looks like a lot of activity with other projects as well. Looks like the momentum is continuing since there was a brief hiatus in 2020.

I'm kind of looking forward to 625 Fulton. Seeing the impact that 9 Dekalb has had on DoBro (not even topped out yet ), 625 Fulton will really add some strength to the skyline. Likewise with 80 Flatbush.

More promising are the LES towers, which looks like some momentum is occurring with those ((the cherry street project(s) if we recall)).

Yes. Much larger than One Vandy. Both from a N/S and East/West perspective. Larger parcel.

That's the old version of 270. The new version is not fat and looks a lot better.

Its basically the same, with symetrical stacking.

Dont get me wrong, i love this design... but at the risk of sounding spoiled, i wish it was about 15 stories taller. i think it deserves it

when i become king, this and torre verre will be raised by 15 stories
