Yes, it's now underway as of yesterday. The developers are waiting until fall which would be after the excavation and possibly some underground levels are completed before having a well publicized groundbreaking.

Very pleased to see. I think at this point you're only going to find newest tall towers records set in a handful of markets with Austin and Miami being the only "boomtown" speculative based clusters still competitive so I'm all in at this point.

Not from this week when it started. There was a City CCTV cam pointed on the site until this weekend when it repositioned to just off of the site. Someone in the Austin subforum should hopefully be posting some in the main thread for this project soon.

The CCTV cam is only showing about 1/3 of the site, but the site has been cleared and excavation for the underground levels has started.

The City's CCTV camera is pointing away from the site again. But it looks like rebar has been delivered and being shaped into piers.

The more I look at it, my bigger issue is how odd the top just ends with what is basically the bill of a hat in a very subtle form. If it tapered more elegantly, I probably wouldn't be so taken aback by it.
