Es obvio que eres de Madrid. Si no vivieras alli, por supuesto no conocerias el barrio Tetuan. Echo muchisimo de menos Madrid. Es la hostia.

Haha "la hostia" - that's something you really don't hear outside of Spain. You must have lived there as well. Anyways, I was more surprised that the tour covered Pueblo Nuevo / Ciudad Lineal than Valdeacederas / Tetuán. Lots of tourists seem to go up there by Plaza de Castilla nowadays because the towers are being built a little north of there. Pueblo Nuevo though... that's a little out of the way and even I don't know it that well. I was quite impressed with not only the pictures but with the accurate labeling of the districts and neighborhoods. Again, nice pics!!

Awesome thread - awesome city. I visited last summer and the place blew me away. I was surprised by how arid the area surrounding the city was. The palacio de cristal is incredible.

This one's my favorite (the combination of the old woman sitting outside her 1-story house and the huge skyscrapers off in the distance, with a foreboding way about them, makes the pic really work:
