I think it only has 6 or 7 more floors to go before being topped out.

700 W. Chicago

Can't wait to make a thread for this proposal...

We could be getting a zoning application dropped real soon for this one.

The site is roughly 7 acres, Halsted Point is about 8 acres.

I'm gonna guess 2200-2400 apartments and the tallest building at 675'. Yes, I hope it's taller, but I'll say 675'.

Ha, looks like you know something we don't

It's kinda astonishing that River West/Fulton River/Goose Island is going to undergo a faster and more rapid change than Fulton Market. The area bounded by Halsted, Hubbard, & the river + the Greyhound site is only about 85 acres. Yet, it is going to add 12k-14k units, thousands of hotel rooms, and a new casino! This is going to be one of the most vibrant areas of downtown

Well - The casino is guaranteed, but everything else at this point is still a proposal. I will believe it when I see shovels hitting the ground on all of these projects. I think we can mantain solid growth in both areas (Fulton and Goose) if the demand is there.

I'm a bit surprised Onni focused on getting entitlements for 357 Green before 700 Chicago, given the relative weakness in the office market versus residential.

The permits list the architect as Zeljic Aleksandar. This might be Aleksandar Sasha Zeljic from Gensler
