I park 1 block away and our lot (one of the ones they listed) is quite full. With an unreserved spot I can see this being a major issue. Selling my car soon anyways, but I would be upset otherwise.
Also very surprising that they expected just 10% of people to walk/bike. There's lots of density in that area, 1K people in my building alone and we would all walk.
Curious on how they will geofence rideshares. Would there be an extra charge for me because I live a block away? Luckily I almost exclusively bike/CTA everywhere, but most of my friends do not.
Crime will be nonexistent inside the casino and on the sidewalks it borders due to high security; however, what about 2 blocks away when the drunks stumble out at 6AM (as it's 24/7)? Time will tell, but based on the limited police presence/funding now I do not expect great results.
