Excellent shots, nick, as always!

I especially like the color contrast in the river water at the confluence in the second pic. Damn that North Branch water gets dirty dirty brown after big rains like we've been having recently.

That's all the poop, they just had to do a release up on the North Branch and opened the locks in Wilmette. Not a huge release, but the first one I can recall in a while. Deep tunnel doing it's job, can't blame it since we got railroaded by torrential rain for like 5 days straight.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, the difference in color was quite apparent. I can't remember seeing it so strong. Though this vantage certainly helps. I was flying over the river for a client and they asked if I could blend the colors. It was a fairly easy edit.

Same here, the crown looks like it is going to be nice. I liked to be pleasantly surprised.

Pitts, great shot. I’ve never seen this vantage point before. Two observations… 1-The Cassidy development on Canal Street will be a game changer. 2- it’s been talked about before on these forums, I was indifferent about it before, but I think that pedestrian bridge over to Merch Mart Plaza would be beneficial to all the new high rise developments & riverwalks. It should be seriously considered.

Digging the crown. Wish it was slightly bigger though.
