Exactly it would make sense that the 4th and 5th largest metros in the U.S., respectively, would be more cosmopolitan than the 41st largest. The overall culture is still the same. A more similar comparison to OKC would be Fort Worth. Tulsa is less like the Texas cities and more similar to the Midwestern river cities but has some elements of Austin (arts and music scene, hilly terrain, nearby lakes, etc)

Maybe a better to ask is whether OKC will become a hipper city in the news that attracts more businesses and transplants - sort of like Nashville is now...

I don't think I've ever met anyone on the coasts who woke up one day and expressed that they were dying to move to Oklahoma.
Well I can’t say that people are “dying to move” but it is certainly a lot more attractive than any West Coast city I can think of. I lived briefly in Seattle and was disgusted at what has happened to that city. Portland, Sacramento, SF, LA are all in the same boat when it comes to urban centers overrun by meth addicts, drunks, mental illness and homelessness and the ongoing problems with civil unrest and Covid. So yeah, I would consider someplace such as OKC, Boise, Billings as places to live.
