Talking JERSEY CITY | 628 Summit Ave | 313 FT | 27 FLOORS

It's been a few months since Jersey City had a new sizable development be made public. This one is a beauty!

All images are from Jersey Digs. The full write up can be found here: https://jerseydigs.com/27-story-towe...e-jersey-city/

The development will consist of a total of 209 units, 16,000 sqft of office and some ground-floor retail. It will be built in the Journal Square neighborhood, with easy access to the PATH station.

I'm happy to see the office space. Journal Square needs more in order to encourage more retail development. A lunch crowd or an after work happy hour crowd would be a great thing for the area. I would have liked to see more office space allowed in exchange for more residential square footage.

I wish these would come to Newark.

A very nice addition for JC, but man, when is this boom going to hit Newark. Numbers are lackluster compared to Hudson County.

This site was demo-ed around 3 months ago. It's being used for parking currently (just a few cars, probably nearby condo owners). Image from 3 months ago

Older, previous 9-storey proposal for this site. Funny how these heights can grow.
