Wow! It’s really coming along nicely! Getting there!!

I’ll be back to SLC on Sunday. I am going back home. Right now, I am in Basel, Switzerland. I visit my brother for a week.

Hi all,

Here my pictures of SLC new airport. I did say "Wow!". It's so beautiful! I really like it very much. So impressive. I haven't been in SLC for decades now. 14 years since my last time I went through SLC in 2008. I was connecting flight. I remember old terminal. They used to be. It's change!

Here's my posts from FlyerTalk.

I still can't figure out why they keep releasing photos a month late, but here's some "new" pics from February 26th.

I'm glad to hear it!

That's a pretty big improvement on the promised 4 gates. How many gates are in those sections? Is this the north facing gates and south facing gates, or just north?

That’s a good question. When we had our saftey meeting with HD, the guy in charge said we’re handing over half of South Concourse East by May (Sections A, B, C). Honestly, it’s not that much further ahead than sections D, E, F. I don’t know, like 6 months ahead. The whole South Concourse East is probably gonna be operational come December 2023.

Still have to do paved the ramp. They still have to be done. Central tunnel will open it up in October 2024. Fingered crossed!

PS: Do you know when they installed new jetbridge at the concourse A East?
