I wonder how the brick color of the hotel will match up with the brick of the office building accross the street? Same design team by any chance?

From TV coverage of the Cubs, I saw some shots of the office building. Glass is going in, and looked good from what I could see. They should have the exterior done before winter sets in.

If anyone passes by, take some photos.

Grabbed an Wrigley Earthcam screen shot. What is that structure that says "Bring it home" on the roof? Something temporary?

Bleed Cubbie Blue is a great follow to see updates from various vantage points.

^ Something symbolic about that coinciding with game 7 of the Cubs' first World Series in 71 years. The "ascent" of the Cubs? The beginning of a new era?

The development is worth keeping this jewel of park ballpark around for some time to come. I'm a Mets fan, not ordinarily a Cubbie's fan... but what a World Series from both the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians and they did both their organizations and citis proud. But tonight and forever, it's in the books that 2016 was after 108 years, finally the year for the Cubs and all their fans in Chicago and beyond. No both infamous curses...the 86 year Boston Red Sox drought between 1918 and winning it all in 2004 and the Chicago Cubs futility to win the Series from 1908- 2015...now both are history! And the Red Sox repeated twice within a decade, so a Cubs mini dynasty may not be such a farfetched dream any longer!

Wonder if World Series run changes anything to this offseason renovation phase. They'll at least have some wiggle room till April 10.

This area has been a madhouse for the past few days. Went there with my kids yesterday via the red line. Crazy, I'm curious how long it will last

Once a Chicago sports team wins a championship title? Decades, my friend. Decades...

On another note: glad to see we're off to the races now that the baseball season is officially over. They'll be able to work mostly unabated (other than weather, of course) until almost mid-April. Let's Go Cubbies' Construction Crews!

That's easy: Mike Ditka. Da Cubs.
