This is getting to be one of those ridiculous public projects. We haven't seen a thing above ground yet and its running way over budget. All the money better be worth it, I mean, a million people a day worth it. There are probably better uses some of this money could have gone to on the site, like the 1WTC spire, Tower 2, Tower 3, Tower 5....

So the Earthcam doesn't show the Oculus construction, and now this camera will be taken down permanently, too. So...there's no way for me to watch it's construction. Awesome.

It's not just you, but everyone on this site that is affected by the 'blackout'.

This camera appears to be still working. It updates every 30 mins and you need to refresh it yourself. It moves about a bit but right now it's at the Oculus.

No, it updates...but for some reason as soon as the Memorial opens for the day they stop looking at the Oculus and start looking at the Memorial...and it stays that way until the sun goes down practically.

What would you guys think of rebuilding the Austin J. Tobin plaza fountain in the middle of the transportation hub? Koenig's Sphere and all.

You can't. There is no room to put it except in the Memorial Plaza at the site of the old 3 World Trade Center (Marriott Hotel), or the new Liberty Park where there is actually room for it.
