Are the three horizontal lines on the building in front of Laurel balconies? They look awful. That whole building looks like it needs a serious cleaning.

FWIW, I now think that all the formwork and rebar being installed in the floor plate on the Walnut Street side of the core is simply load-transferring beams, transferring the load-bearing from the Walnut Street wall columns in the lower half of the tower to the columns to be constructed in the stepped-back Walnut Street wall for the upper half of the tower. For those fellow amateur engineers who also speculate about these things.

But if someone knows differently, please speak up.

Philadelphia skyline by Philly SkyGuy, on Flickr

Core looks to be over 300 feet now, the crane also looks like it's about to jump

I think they are working on the transfer floor between the two portions of the building; hence why it's taking a while.

I wouldn’t mind, if it stopped growing right here. It fits perfectly with the neighborhood at this height.

Is there a setback on this building? From the webcam, it looks like there is, but I don't recall in the renders.

Yep, it's where they are right now, around the middle of the tower:
