The Austin Business Journal is reporting that Facebook is in the process of leasing over a million sq. ft. downtown. They are looking at leasing all of the office space in this project - which is across the street from their current downtown location - and the remaining office space in the nearby U/C Indeed tower.

The 4th floor's floorplate is now poured. There's seven floorplates left for the parking base, then this narrows significantly and moves to the office levels.

The developers have filed FAA permits to increase the height of the building to 883' from 848'. The apparent reason is that they want to increase the ceiling height in the residential units because of a switch from rental to condo.

I'm always amazed at the amount of parking built for towers in Austin. It is insane!

It is a lot. This one has (I believe) 4 underground parking floors as well. It's a bit insane, even for our tallest tower.

once construction wraps up on One Chicago later this year, this will become the tallest tower U/C in the nation (outside of NYC, of course).

Just a few feet shy from being in the top 5 in Texas (#5 comes in at 886’).
