Well if this is office space it probably would be taller than 545 feet. Most 50-story office towers are in the 600 to 700 foot range.

Cold SRX, I posted your render in SSC, I hope that is alright with you. I felt this was important enough to merit the action. It would be really cool to see an altered Skyline shot, with this added to it.

I'd be very surprised if this got built at the current size given the area, but it would be quite a skyline changer if it ever did.

545 ft is 166 m. Whoa, that would make this proposal the tallest of any skyscraper in Edmonton - if it *ever* gets built. That's even taller than 102 St. Centre (Manu 2), which is at 161 m.

Interesting...the tallest proposal in Ottawa (where I live) right now is 166.2 metres! We are both possibly getting a new tallest at almost exactly the same height.

Also, a bit more on the Edmontonian proposal for Edmonton...

71 storeys

40 condo
18 hotel
13 commercial office and recreational
3 sky lobbies
71st floor 'PUBLIC SKY DECK'

--------

Can mods change this to 71 storeys, call it 745'

Now that is cool. Besides the name, it also has a few design characteristics that remind me of our tallest.

Even though I have my doubts about its viability and the developer behind it, as do many on here from what I've read, I do hope it gets built! It's about time Edmonton starts to push past those old airport overlay restrictions... And I hope it's the start of a trend towards taller and taller towers in the core...

^I doubt this will get built (at least at that many floors), but if it ever did, it would be totally dramatic...and yes, probably spur on a trend for taller towers.
