Yes it is. What's even more creepy is that the music that always played in the plaza was still going while all that was going on.

Please remove the 9/11 plaza photo, or at least make it a link with a warning. There are splattered remains visible in it.

I don't see anything wrong with the photo in question. I think you're looking at building debris. This photo was taken from too high up and too far away to be able to make out human remains. It's an historic and stunning photograph and I'm glad its being shown here.

There are remains dotting the area around the North Tower, sadly. That pic is very disturbing, but I agree, very historical in its own way.

Yeah, now that you mentioned it Patrick, I can see what appears to be a spot of red (pool of blood) near the foot of the North Tower. Possibly from one of the people who jumped out and took their own lives.

Whenever I see pictures of the old World Trade Center I get this feeling of dread and feel like I'm going to be sick. I don't think I'll ever get over it. I don't look at pictures of the old WTC. Have a nice day.

That picture really makes you take a step back. When I saw it, it took me a few seconds to realize what was going on, and then it hit me. No matter how many years go by, there are still some times I question if it happened or not. It's just one of those things that you'd see in a movie or a nightmare, that you'd never (in a million years) think it would happen.

I have two pictures of the WTC in the Downtown skyline in my room (at my home) that whenever I look at I ask myself, Did that really happen, I mean is that really possible? Of course I know the answer, but hell, it's just one of those things that'll always leave an impact and a question mark in your head.

I still cant believe these buildings are gone. They did not deserved this. They become victims of politics. Skyscraper lovers and architect around the world are victims too. They took us what we loved and still love. WTC
