I took these yesterday, 9/21/2022. I have to say that it looked disappointingly short in the river view (fourth photo):

^ The setbacks certainly doesn’t help, considering all the new other new office towers along the river look much more imposing.

^ the lack of contrast between the reflective glass of the tower and the white cloudy sky background is also reducing the visual impact of the tower in that particular shot.

Meh, that's purely perspective and distance from the camera. I think it looks great.

The other day, the concave vertical metal panels on the crown caught the morning light just right to reflect into my window. It was dazzling and I regret not snapping an image. Maybe the sun will line up just right again.

Tall buildings really should look tall from any perspective...lol....once you get to that 950ft range angles really don't matter.....it will look tall regardless.... Unfortanlty we couldn't squeezy another 100ft out of this one and to think the opportunity there of doing it with the amount of space that was leased ..could of easily added another 10 floors

Even another 50 ft would have really given Salesforce a much more pronounced and imposing feel. It's still a great tower. But perhaps a wasted opportunity given its location.

yeah its a dud, unfortunately, not as bland as the Ronan tower but considering the site and the height this is the architectural equivalent of warmed over porridge. C-

Here's some photos from a tour I took earlier this spring.

Suffice to say the tenants are going to have some insane views.

Suffice to say the Kennedy family just wiped out a classic evening sun-lit view of the best part of Chicago. Well done. Glad the pencil pushers have great view for their 9 to 5 though. Could have easily been a different way.

What would you have proposed, if you don't mind me asking?
