A lot of times renderings only serve to galvanize or create opposition to a project. Renderings released might have created a preservation movement/lawsuit to delay the project. People respond to images and not filing paperwork.

JP Morgan Chase doesn't have to worry about opposition. This tower was approved a couple of years ago. Any opposition was in regards to the demo anyway, and that ship sailed a long time ago. They
have managed to place a rendering of the plaza on site. I guess, the loophole being technically they're only building the table top (full NB permit hasn't been issued yet). They aren't required to put a full rendering on site yet. But this will be a very architecturally distinguished building. It's something they will be proud to call a headquarters. You'd think it would be out by now.
