Ha! Considering those are almost all residential and hotel buildings pictured.

Well with more work from home happening, a lot of those residential towers will have more people working in them over time, competing with commercial real estate.

Literally all of them. 303 E Wacker is office, but it's hidden by the lens flare. BCBS and Aon are not visible from this angle.

I think St. Regis compliments the skyline really well from this angle. I'll be interested to see what this view looks like with another supertall to the right of Regis. Not holding my breath for the Tribune Tower, but that would look pretty slick right in between Aon and 2 Pru.

I think the Blue Cross Blue Shield tower messes us the view coming from the south. It's too fat and boxy, but we have to live with it. Sort of like the fat boxes lining one side of downtown Manhattan....

Why is this thread still here? Both CTBUH and Wikipedia say it was completed in 2020.

Not sure what the hurry is to archive it. This building deserves the latitude of more time especially seeing that the "Cube" build-out isn't complete. I, for one, am excited to see how it turns out as it is a major part of this iconic building.

"There is one extraordinary interior space: the hotel’s restaurant, which flaunts 38-foot ceilings and massive, dramatically canted concrete columns that are pulled back from the facade to maintain riverfront views. This is a bravura display of old-fashioned Chicago muscle. Metal window frames subdivide the cube’s exterior into truncated pyramids, further breaking down the tower’s scale." - Kamin

It's one of the nicknames they've given the portion at ground level that juts out on the river side. It's exterior has long been complete, but to my knowledge the interior has not.

It is certain to be a fairly grand space given the volume and massive canted columns
