Wow, Olga, those are great! I especially like this one--the backdrop and the bird (most likely a pigeon like those on the ground, but it looks like a dove in flight) flying above the two lovers...spectacular!

nice pictures but where I live it is forbidden to take pictures of people without their authorisation so I never take these kind of pictures.

I'm not really a people person photographer, but I have taken a few interesting shots over the years:

1. Luis Gonzales, Arizona Diamondbacks slugger, at bat:

2. Girl on tour boat off of the Big Island of Hawaii:

3. Sax player in downtown San Diego:

4. Guy mooning for camera in downtown San Diego:

5. They could not be any tighter:

6. Protest march in Phoenix:

7. Passengers boarding a bus in downtown Phoenix:

8. People walking in the snow in downtown Prescott, Arizona:

I'm not very good at this kind of photography. Most of my people pictures are of the environmental candid style, where what catches my eye is the juxtaposition of the people in their surroundings, not the people themselves. This is partly because I don't have the guts to take closeups of people I don't know. People often catch me trying to take their picture. I'm a creepy-looking dude with a big camera.

Here are a few I happen to have online. I guess I could look back through all my photos and find some more.

I actually used to actively avoid getting people in my scenic photos, but when I saw what the many excellent photographers on this site were able to do with depicting how people interact with the city, I started trying to do it some.
