I agree with your point and clarification though.

2. For reference; 99 Hudson in Jersey City is slightly taller than M3 in Missisauga. (270m vs. 260m) I hope the name changes, this striking building deserves a proper name.
Thanks I forgot about 99 Hudson (Manhattan eye-candy shots often feature 30 Hudson's riverfront presence). Jersey City is getting serious.

But good to know M3 will be number 2 in the suburban skyline stakes since Williams had the misfortune to be inside the Houston city limits ;-)

Thanks Iinsertnamehere for all the updates.

Thanks H2O, glad you are enjoying the thread (you'll be happy to know that Toronto has named a waterfront park after you). As to your question I think you meant is Aqualuna maple leaf-shaped (so many Aquas lol). Never occurred to me but maybe…

Appropriate to your question, the renders do have stylized maple leafs in-laid along the waterfront promenade of the project. Is there a maple hiding in these floors?

UT

someMidTowner's great shot of the Yonge-Eglinton skyline cluster posted earlier, inspired me to throw a spotlight on the cluster’s potential future growth.

someMidTowner
^ This pic features the 2 tallest towers in the Yonge and Eglinton skyline today.
1. 2221 Yonge topping out at 193m - 58 storeys designed by Pei.
2. E Condos (behind 2221 Yonge and recently completed) 196m - 58 storeys and 123m - 38 storeys, designed by Roy Varacalli

Link

In the pipeline in descending order of height:
1. 36 Eglinton Avenue West 220m- 65 storey designed by Wallman (submitted in July). If approved, this would become the new tallest tower in midtown.

UT

2. 1 Eglinton East 211m - 65 storeys designed by HPA

UT

3. 90 Eglinton East 187m - 52 storeys designed by Teeple

UT

4. 55 Eglinton East 178m - 50 storeys designed by Kirkor.

UT

UT

5. 150 Eglinton East 167m-46 storeys designed by Quadrangle

UT

As previously posted, further east along Eglinton Avenue at Don Mills Road is the huge Crosstown Community (now in sales) which could eventually add up to 60 buildings including 5000 residential units, millions of square feet of office space, 120,000 square feet of retail space and a 6-acre public park.

Thanks to UrbanToronto for leaving the keys in the door of their database.

I was referring to the green roof in post #2952 https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...80485&page=148 in which you referred to it as AquaBella. Doesn't the taller one look like a maple leaf?

Thanks for the link. It showed me 2 things:

1. I totally goofed and called the project AquaBella (which is next door) instead of AquaLuna (now fixed thank you).

2. I see the maple leaf you were referring to on the roof. Good eye!

You definitely deserved to have the waterfront park named after you (link posted earlier).

^Most welcome. Here's a night-cap (Massey and another brilliant steveve render).

Amazing future angle by steveve featuring:

1. BIG’s proposed (pixelated, of course ;-) Union Centre 274m-52s (right centre foreground)
2. 160 Front West, 249m-46s u/c (sloping curved roof behind Union Centre)

Thanks, Maldive. I took the moniker H2o because I was working on the redevelopment of a water treatment plant on the waterfront of Austin Texas. Also, I was aware of the waterfront park in my former home of Toronto, so that may have been an influence as well.

More shots from someMidTowner’s trip up the CN Tower).

19 Duncan 167m-55 storeys u/c (at grade, bottom centre of pic with heritage facade).
PJ Condos 157m -48 storeys (near the left, topped-out, with brick+glass cladding climbing).

someMidTowner

For folks not familar with Hogtown, some points of interest behind PJ Condos: halfway up the pic is the south elevation of Gehry’s blue titanium-clad makeover of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO). To the right of the AGO, the horizontal building on ’stilts’ is Alsop’s OCAD (Ontario College of Art & Design).

If the approved project ever moves forward, Gehry’s supertalls (329 + 302 meters) would rise left of centre, and beyond the top the photo’s frame.

19 Duncan - zoom in on the project

someMidTowner

160 Front Street West 240m u/c - “ghosted” into the photo.

More Toronto Portlands/Lower Don Lands news: Basin/Media Hub
The Portlands are already home to Pinewood Toronto, which offers 12 TV/film stages, (including the Mega Stage, one of North America’s largest purpose-built sound stages). Now CreateTO is seeking proposals globally from film & television production consortiums to develop a state-of-the-art film, television, and digital media hub on an 8.9-acre site (expected to provide up to 500,000 GFA of studio space and production offices).
