100%. When viewed from the Kennedy (NW), it is perfectly centered between the Hancock and Trump Tower. I don’t know how our skyline gets so lucky like this.

a supertall (ideally 1200+ footer) over the thompson center would fill that last major hole from the NW

Certainly exposes the Block 37 fiasco as the total joke that it was. Can you imagine if we had a competent developer build a real proect like this there instead of the half assed garbage we wound up with? Letchinger is proving to be one of the most competent developers in recent memory in Chicago. Looking forward to seeing what he does with Moody. Willing to bet he finishes that development before Lincoln Yards has but a few towers up and before Related has the Discovery Partners Institute complete.

I've counted them being at the 36th floor. One Chicago is almost halfway and it's only mid-September

The tower A crane jumped a few more segments on Sunday and is probably around 600 feet up. Much easier to spot from the north/northwest now.

^Forgive me, but what NW street is this? I didn't expect One Chicago to be a terminus to any street, but apparently it is.

My count was about 47-48, but close enough, and also, holy fuck, this thing is truly flying!

Oh yes! One Chicago will be very imposing as well as impressive when completed. It not only enhances the skyline but helps to make a great Chicago skyline even greater. Also i might add the cluster of skyscrapers in the photo that are west of the Merchandise Mart is also very impressive and have transformed that area.

^^ Sentinel, I'm not certain of the need for vulgarities in your excitement. There are young kids who read this forum, though I understand that's easy to forget.

^ It certainly has. And that Mart-area cluster has one more (Salesforce) coming!
