Well hopefully the Jets will beat the Leafs in their upcoming games so we can hear endless "what's wrong with the Leafs" talk.

Can't stop talking about the Leafs.

Wonders why people can't stop talking about the Leafs.

The lowly Canucks take out the top team in the league without Vancouver's best player.

Yep. I listen to the NHL network on Satellite and when they aren't talking non-stop about American teams, it's always about the Leafs and to a lesser extent, Montreal. Only because of the shakeups and how badly the Canadiens have dropped off. I can't remember the last time they had a devoted discussion about the Jets unless it's a call-in show and someone calls to talk about them. But I will say, I also don't hear much there about the Alberta teams either. Some sprinkling of Vancouver throughout.

I always just assumed that the NHL Networks (radio and TV) were US oriented by design... the NHL doesn't get a ton of media coverage down there relative to other sports, so this fills in those gaps and gives your fans in Dallas, Columbus or wherever the chance to get some in depth coverage of their teams.

It's the same as how Sportsnet doesn't talk a ton about US teams... you don't really hear all that much about the Sharks or the Wild on that network, for instance. The focus there is on the Canadian teams.
