Bedrock unveils $3.5 billion plan for Cuyahoga River in downtown Cleveland

Bedrock CEO Kofi Bonner estimates the project will cost about $3.5 billion.

also in TAN with no paywall and some details as to timeline/design principles--I have never been to Cleveland but it seems like a great opportunity for the city. I find this bend in the Cuyhoga pretty unique and the twin peninsulas that are created by it, connected by all the bridges, full of potential!

yes the crooked cuyahoga river bends are uniquely local scenic features and are also just below downtown level in a valley.

there is nothing like sitting out and watching ore ships and boaters wind around them, it's nice.

they have been highly industrialized until recently cleared -- and there are plans in motion to rebuild on them, ie.:

there is nothing more clevelandy than the old warner and swasey factory complex, probably thee major old relic people want to see redeveloped.

it won more historic tax credits and is supposed to become mixed income housing:
