I'm hearing the short tower crane will be removed this weekend and the remaining two cranes will be jumped the following 2 weekends.

It really is, just the right amount of simplicity too, it's not trying too hard.

Good thing it's nearly 1000 feet tall and will stand out a lot in its area

I really like Vista despite its flaws, but Tower A is my favorite building of the cycle.

I wouldn't mind something similar in one of the NBC Tower Parking Lots one day.

I really hope we get one some day. It would be incredible for the skyline. Unfortunately, I don't see any rumors that would lead me to believe it's even being considered.

It almost happened

Those types of proposals in legitimate form are very rare, most 2000' "proposals" in Chicago have just been visions. I'm happy with 14-1600 feet though someday.

I am wishing for a new tallest building for the city, even if it beats Sears / Willis by just 1 ft.

Once Vista is completed, Chicago One will be the tallest building under construction to root for. 971' is respectable, but also feels a little anticlimactic after watching the much taller Vista rise for several years.

I really hope the second tower has this level of detail. It's sublime
