Love the view of 160 Front looking west from Union. Til now a little dismal viewing west. Viewing east from Union was always the postcard shot.

biggest change is that all the wind barriers have been raised since the last update. Otherwise, its 2 new floors and another floor of glass in a month.

Got it. I guess the next mechanical floor is only about what, maybe 8 floors away? I'm not sure how far they're spaced apart.

I don't think One Yonge has gained any ground on One Bloor floor count wise during February either. Passing One Bloor by mid summer (end of July) is not looking very likely.

It seems to have only risen by a few stories since October.

October it's roughly 17 floors, in the last it's about 23 floors. So 7 floors over the winter with the XMas break is pretty good for a tower this size.

Considering it's location that's not too bad, but it's still been a milder winter and 3 months and change if you discount the holidays.

I call it The Bore on Bloor. It reached ground level almost 3 years ago. At the rate it's rising it will take another full decade to top off. But perhaps it will pick up speed this year.

it's doing regular floors a little under every 2 weeks right now. Floors 17/18 were mechanical levels and took longer.

The whole project has been agonizingly slow, but it's definitely moving now, if not at a record-setting pace.

The speed standard is so gosh darn low for this tower. Two floors a month is comparably "on steroids" to 6 months ago. However, record setting pace has no business in this discussion. The current pace is only pretty good compared to its own previously set paces or Baydo Towers in Saskatoon

Yeah, I'm aware, maybe just a bit impatient due to the delays its had over the years. I've been able to keep up to tabs with this project over the years since it's along the route of a walk I do every so often. It's been taking a logn time to get to this point, let alone close to completion. I expect this to be done by 2025.

Not at this pace. There's 60 to 70 floors still to go at 25 floors a year. Done won't be until 2026. Done Done considering the higher end nature and the accompanying level of customization may not be until 2028, again, at this current pace.

The One (One Bloor West) has that old school office tower vibe. I'm really liking the cladding, just wish we had more taller towers with such a nice cladding. Can't believe its still got so many floors to go. It's gonna define Yorkville skyline even with so many really tall towers going up right in it's immediate vicinity.

Cool picture!

I know it's sort of a pipe dream but imagine all of the tracks downtown covered with a park in that picture. It could look like Toronto's version of Central Park.
