108 N Jefferson - Ride by shooting

Taken from the Green line last month

Picassa is broken - or overhauled - or most likely both. Please let me know if the images don't appear for you.

No pride.

These days, mostly its not about getting something good for a good price, its about getting something for a cheap price.
Possibly. But this extends to the final consumer as well. If consumers demanded better (or even different), developers would have no choice.

I guess some developers could take pride in photocopying the plans for a building 2 miles away and building it again.

^^ Yeah, as a blanket statement of course that's of course not true, however - anybody out there that thinks there are not developers that do not take pride in the actual quality of what they build are naive........there certainly are some......

30 E Balbo was issued a foundation permit yesterday - we can see in pictures above they're already working on this one. 16 floors, 134 units, and ground floor retail. I don't see this one on page 1 at all for site prep or U/C - it should be AT LEAST site prep, but probably soon or now into U/C.

Hehe. Stainless steel appliances — the whitewall tires of the early 21st century.

Huh? Stainless steel is still really popular and considered stylish. Also whitewall tires have and always will kick ass

No. 9 Walton. Being understanding of the underground parking, this is taking forever.
Here's the site for a reminder: http://www.jdlcorp.com/project/no-9-walton/

So yesterday, I was down around Polk and Wells and noticed that there was a single earth mover, a lot of blue fencing, and little pink flags poking around where Riverline is set to rise. Is that a sign of anything important or just routine digging and poking?
