Thanks everybody!

Gio this once was a lake in the middle of the city, they are currently drying it out to make way to yet another urban developpement.

All these SE Asian cities all seem to look alike.

^Just like american cities I guess... SE asian countries are quite close together, Bangkok and Phnom Penh are as distant as Chicago and Des Moines...

Wow, these are absolutely incredible! Getting used to seeing the same American/Canadian cities, it really throws you off looking at these. I love the juxtaposition of rich and poor, the polarization between the old and new really comes off in your photos. It's good to see the city developing. Anyway, you make me want to get on a flight to Asia right now! Thank you!

Thank you very much for posting these photos!! I have been wanting to go to Phnom Penh for a long time. It is so good to see that it is building and growing tremendously!

I worked with Cambodians for two years in Philadelphia for my church, which is why I am so interested in these. Thanks again!

Congrats on the overpasses! Phnom town is steppin up. Looks like you might start getting some growth in manufacturing now that the never ending search for cheaper labor is pushing some things out of China.

This is great to see a city we never see much of! Thanks for posting.

Note, I'm surprised by how many vehicles there are. I would have expected more scooters, like we see in Ho Chi Minh city.

I read lots of biographies, just finished a bio of Pol Pot, and it's so encouraging to see Cambodia in a state of recovery. I'm guessing, in even 10 years time, it will begin to resemble all other Asian cities.

I'll never get here, as I can't deal with both heat and humidity, as I've lived in the SW desert too long. My last trip to Bangkok in July 2004 almost killed me! I knew, then and there, there'd be no more SE Asia for me!

Really like Phnom Penh. While it has its own charms and unique qualities, it is very much like a smaller Saigon, circa 1995 perhaps.

Always enjoy my trips to Cambodia. Great country. Great photos.
