A Little Bit of Charlotte!

I made my 1st trip to Charlotte several weeks ago...here is a very limited view of what I saw.

First impressions
Very clean: mostly newer buildings without a lot of visible history
LOTS of new construction: several substantial new towers going up
Attractive downtown: lots of trees and beautiful buildings
Way too much khaki: it is a banking town afterall
Friendly people and great restaurants...I hope to get back soon and often.

Named after Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg

Bank of America Tower:

Hearst Tower:

Freedom Park:

I like the angle a lot. Very nice job.

great pics. Charlotte would benefit a lot if they'd left a few low-rise commercial buildings (or at least facades) in place.
