Is Turcot being torn down? I hadn't heard anything, but I'd hope so, as it seems to be crumbling apart anyway!
Also, were some of the photos near the end showing old industrial textile buildings near Casgrain in Mile End? They look very much like where a friend used to live across from.

Though you opened the door, the dude... I say OK for some thread abour my hometown Trois-Rivieres... But I have such an impressive amount of photos, which one to choose? Anyway, I promise I will put a man on this (probably me)
Niwell : I don't know if those textile buildings are in Mile End, since I don't really know where are the limits of Mile End... Actually it was the first time I visited that part of the city...
very nicely done. MTL looks almost toy-like in some of those pics, especially the aerial over the plateau.
I like Verdun, Baie d'Urfe, etc. Surprising its not more popular place to live, I could be wrong. More people would enthusiastic about living closer to the St. Lawrence.
Turcot Interchange: Is that the elevated expressways leaving west on HWY 20?

verdun is quietly popular. it has actually seen a lot of condo construction in recent years, lots of infill in the neighbourhood and a couple of midrises on the waterfront. of course, it's nothing compared to nun's island, whose skyline has been mushrooming with new highrises.
baie d'urfé consists entirely of big expensive houses on big lots. it's pretty established. if you're looking for a lakeshore neighbourhood that is set to take off, check out old lachine. it's very lovely, there's a new public market, an undervalued main street and an absolutely gorgeous waterfront.
