I really hope Brooklyn Tower has a decent lighting scheme! If the orange lines lit up or the setbacks glowed, this would pop at night!

This is what we have seen of lighting so far, other than the aerial…

I wish 45 Broad was being built in Brooklyn to make a nice companion to this tower. Different, yet similar vibes.

It does ominous and also mysterious, making it a true Gotham-themed tower.

Totally. There's an embarrassment of riches right now in NY but at the top of my list of potential boner killers would be the cancellation or redesign of 45 Broad. 45 Broad moving to construction will be an awesome day.

Wow. The photos of it definitely fit the aesthetic of r/evilbuildings. Not a bad thing, it's actually really cool.

I would only accept a complete redesign of 45 Broad if it were done by SHoP Architects. They would give another Brooklyn Tower-like masterpiece.

I just love it! Was fun to see it in person October last year, and excited to see it when it is 100% done.

I can’t wait for the crown lighting either . .
Wow, That’s quite the compelling juxtaposition, just above . .
The grimy green robes & arm of Lady Liberty, holding out
her shiny golden torch, confronting Brooklyn’s soaring
Dark Tower . . A glorious poetic match . .

Finally 9 DeKalb, makes the Brooklyn skyline, and all the
individual skyline elements in downtown Brooklyn,
make some sense . .

Glad others saw that it looks like Barad-dûr. Someone needs to photoshop the Great Eye onto that last photo.
