Calm down. Plenty of people contribute photos. And though TK is definitely one of the better contributors, he does have a tendency for a lot of these super long distance photos that a lot of people have noted, are not very useful for seeing what the project actually looks like. People are allowed to voice their opinions.

I think it's safe to say most of us live in Philly, so while a close up of a project is always appreciated because we might not be right at the location of a project, chances are any photo taken miles away from I-95 is a view of the building that for most in this forum, can be easily seen just through the course of their normal lives. And because these photos are taken from so far away, just like when I catch a glimpse of this project from blocks away, it's hard to really take much away from the photo or see many details.

I truly don't understand why you think it's off limits to joke about this.

That being said, I understand why these photos have their appreciators. In general TK is good photographer. And I know a lot of people here care a whole lot about how a building fits into a skyline. That's something I've never cared about, but if you do, I could see how a distance shot might be preferred over a closer view.

I also wasn't thinking about people who don't live here, who wouldn't get this view in their everyday life. I can see you're one of those who don't. Or is your location listed on this website meant to be a joke? Is Dillsburg really the name of a place that actually exists? Anyway...

Alot of people pick on TK and I hate to see it. All the dude does it bring content. He provides a great service imo. Been coming to this site for almost 20 years. On it 10 times a day. I’m a Philly building nerd. I miss seeing pics from guys like VZ and brad who would bring it. I’d hate to loose another. This isn’t twitter, take the hate somewhere else is all I’m saying. Peace out from Dillsburg PA.

As the one to whom you said, "Yo, shut the heck up. You bring no substance to this forum, scram," I completely agree.

Not to mention that my almost 2,300 posts on this forum prove otherwise.

Lmao. My first thought was, "Thomas Koloski really needs to upgrade from his Nokia 7650"

Exactly. It would be a serious upgrade costing serious big bucks. Like the camera and lenses you see on the sidelines of professional sports or wildlife photography.

On the TK bandwagon. One of the best here.

"Surprisingly, the building is already popping into the skyline from certain angles, such as the I-95 south and south Camden, NJ."...

classic.

Just to clarify, I also very much appreciate his contributions.

I was just engaging in some good-natured ribbing about referring to the highway as "the I-95," remembering how SNL had years ago repeatedly poked fun at that quirk of Southern California dialect.

On the other hand, not sure why brenster felt compelled to hurl personal invective at me. Maybe just having a bad day.

This building is a lot wider than the renderings made it seem, but I think it's because I kept looking at the old renderings that depicted a second building instead of the park that is actually going on the west side.

Much respect to Thomas Koloski really; he does the work. But that said, allovertown's potato comment is about the funniest thing I've read on teh intarwebz all week.

I'm always thinking "OK, but how would this project look if you took a picture of it from space with a potato?"

Here as a generally silent member of the TK fan club. Have been coming here since 2002 and made the first Philadelphia city thread which is now on version 10 I believe. TK for life.
